Automotive Sports Network ("ASN", "we", "us", or "our") operates the ASN League Manager platform ("ASNLMS"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected through our league administration software, standings engines, and broadcast telemetry services.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your email address, full name, preferred display name, timezone, country, and optionally Discord handle.
Sim Racing Profiles: We collect your numeric iRacing Customer ID to link race log results, series registrations, car paints, and standings points accurately.
Race Log Data: When league administrators upload or import session logs (from iRacing APIs or result files), we process lap times, finishing positions, incidents, and penalty points.
3. Guest Driver Privacy & Name Masking
We recognize that non-registered competitors ("Guest Drivers") may appear in imported race results. To protect non-signed-up individuals from search engine indexing and unauthorized publicity:
- Guest driver first names are automatically masked across public standings, session results, and rosters (e.g., John Smith displays as J*** Smith).
- Guest driver iRacing IDs are automatically omitted from public frontend tables and API payloads.
- Registered drivers may toggle "Hide iRacing ID" at any time in their profile settings.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use strictly necessary authentication cookies (via Supabase Auth) to keep you signed in securely. Optional analytics cookies help us measure performance. You can customize or revoke your cookie choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our site footer.
5. Your Rights & Privacy Suppression
Under GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy standards, you have the right to request data removal or opt out of public display.
Privacy Suppression & Permanent Anonymization: To prevent your real name from automatically regenerating if a league imports future race logs containing your iRacing ID, removal requests place your profile on a permanent privacy suppression list. Your public display name is anonymized (e.g., Anonymized Driver) and your iRacing ID remains hidden across all current and future series.
